The historic Capricorn Studios in Macon Georgia was once owned by legendary music icon Phil Walden. At Capricorn, Walden recorded some of the great sounds in music history including those produced by The Allman Brothers Band, 38 Special, Otis Redding, Eric Clapton and many others. In the 1990’s Capricorn Studios were reborn as Phoenix Sound Recording. In 2001 OMG purchased Phoenix Sound Recording and began a new chapter in the historic legacy of the historic Capricorn Recording Studios.
